Download Help

Here you will find instructions on how to download and install the screensavers and wallpapers available on this site.

Screensavers

All of the screensaver files are essentially programs in their own right.  To download, on the Screensaver page, you will see an image taken from the screensaver itself with the title next to it.  Right click on either the title or the image and select "Save Target As..." from the pop-up menu.  Save the file to your computer in a place you can remember easily.  Once the file is downloaded, go to that place and double click the file to run.  The screensaver will install itself

To remove the screensaver from your system, once installed, go to the Control Panel on your PC and select "Add/Remove Programs", scroll through until you find the name of the screensaver, highlight it then click the "Add/Remove" button.  The screensaver will remove itself.

Wallpapers

Under each image there is a choice of links relating to screen resolutions.  At the moment we are only posting images in 800x600 and 1024x768.  If demand proves high enough, we may start posting in other sizes too.

To download the images, click on the link relevant to your screen resolution.  This will bring up a new window with the full sized image.  To set this as wallpaper, right click on the image and select "Set as Wallpaper".  Alternatively, you may wish to download the image, in which case, right click on the link on the main Wallpaper page and select "Save Target As...", you may however have to convert the image file to .BMP format from its native .JPG.

To determine your screen resolution, right click on an empty area of your Windows desktop and select "Properties".  Click on the "Settings" tab and look for "Screen area".
